53 Clio 1.5 DCI Oil in Expansion Tank
After a long run to the coast and back, my 1.5 D Clio started to make what sounded like a 'Squelching hissing' noise from the engine.
I pulled over straight away and carefully opened the bonnet. Oil was pouring out of the expansion tank and on later inspection it looked to be dripping down from underneath the middle of this car (although this could just be run off from expansion tank??)
Prior to this, the car had been running fine, and the temperature gauge never moved from half way which is the norm for this car. The only thing that was out of the ordinary was that it seemed to using a lot more fuel than normal.
Does this sound like head gasket issue or cracked head? I'm no mechanic but it looks like the car is as good as scrap to me.

1.9 dci Trafic dies after 35km!

Firstly I apologise for this long winded post, but I am desperate for help.I find your information extremely useful, hope you might help me out with my tale of woe. I drive a 04 reg 1.9 renault trafic which became difficult to start around November last year, thought it might be battery so I replaced it (van always started on a short pull) no change, after several visits to the garage I have since replaced Crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor, Temp sensor glow plugs and numerous other items to no avail, the problem persisted. After reading an article on this forum I cleaned the erg and MAF sensor, engine seemed a bit smoother but the problem persisted. The garage then suggested that the diesel pump was faulty so a secondary diesel lift pump was fitted, No Change!
On a garage recommendation the van was brought to an electrical specialist who said there were many frayed wires and a damaged electrical module. All were repaired, another €400 and van seemed fine for about two weeks (as an aside I was out of work for these two weeks and never drove more than 20km any day)
Work picked up which necessitated longer distances daily and that's when the problems started.....
The van just chugged (felt like it was starved of diesel) and cut out! I got a friend to attempt to pull me to start the van but no joy (the starter was turning perfectly) I got pulled home and arranged to be towed to the garage the following morning, Next morning van started perfectly and at around 37km it died again. That was about 3 weeks ago and has (despite numerous visits to my mechanic) been the same since, will drive for about 35km then will splutter to a halt. if turned off and left for 45 minutes it will start normally and drive for another 35km. Would you have any idea what the problem might be as I am at my wits end as 3 garages have failed to sort it out. Could a faulty MAF Sensor cause this? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Entering Radio Code?
I have a Cabasse Auditorium Tronic. I need to enter the code. I have figured out how to enter it with the thumb wheel thing and move to the next digit but do you need to do something like 'ok' to proceed? Will it just automatically kick in when I enter the last correct digit? I'm not sure if my code is right you see or if I am doing it wrong.

OBD error codes
Clio 2 1.2 16V 2003....
No apparent problems driving it but the engine management light was on with error codes DF208 and DF226.
I reset them and a couple of days later the light was back with the same codes.
Where to start please ?... as I said it all seems to be running OK

Megane Scenic 1.9dci diesel fault
I folks. I am very sorry if this is in the wrong place or has been answered before so please forgive me. I am thinking of taking on a project of a non running 1.9 scenic diesel. The codes read that there is a fault with the pressure sensor. I cleared the codes and tried to start it again to see if codes would come back but no they did not but car still wont start. There is fuel getting to priming bulb and pressure when priming it and no lose of pressure when holding it. I don't think there is a low pressure side to the 1.9 but correct me if I am wrong. I thought about cracking open the feed pipes from the pump to see if there is fuel coming from the pump to the injectors but was told that this would not work as the min the pressure in the common rail drops below 450psi it will shut off anyway. Can anybody give me any idea's and tests to run. I am very much an old school tinkering diesel mechanic who still thinks on doing things the old way lol. Thanks in advance.

New Clio DCI MPG
The new generation Clio (2013 and after) is exceptionaly good on fuel, but is the 80+ MPG quoted in the government tests realistic in everyday driving?
Just wondering what people actualy get, im a little obsessed with MPG's and I think im pretty good at getting close to the estimates having got 82 MPG in an old Panda diesel once! So far on this tank, my first tank since I picked the car up two weeks ago, im getting about 65 MPG.

Hi guys, can anybody tell me how to change the power steering pump on the mk 3 please? Particularly, where the tensioner is, to take the pressure off the belt. I have looked in the forum, but couldn't find anything, or maybe someone could point me in the right direction, cheers, Pat.

I was browsing the EuroNCAP website this morning, and saw that the Megane had been recently re-tested.
More to my surprise, I saw that they had awarded it "3 stars".
When I started to read into it deeper, I discovered that the occupant protection still remained incredibly high; 83% Adult, 78% Child, and the Pedestrian protection was rated at 60%. The Safety Assist section is where it lost the most marks, gaining only 48%.
The main reason for this was that the rear seatbelt system uses text to display which seatbelts are in use, rather than by illuminating lights on the instrument panel. The message is not available in every language, and as a result, the car failed this section.
They did say however that Renault intend to address the issue very soon, and when addressed, the car will be capable of 4 stars.
Personally, I feel that for the car to have dropped 2 stars because of safety assist, is slightly harsh? Perhaps I am the only one?
I do understand that it is highly important to prevent vehicles getting into accidents in the first place, but surely occupant protection should be worth more?
What does the rest of you think about this result?

engine swap
we run 1.2 kangoo lpg. recently the engine has lost compression cam belt broken bent valves etc. now instead of replacing head and cam belt costing 400 pounds including labour. does any one no weather d7f 800 engine from twingo will fit and is it the d7f block and head the same across the Renault range, i will be using all original bolt on parts from d7f 726 engine.. has anyone done this many thanks older elder

Laguna won't start or starts for a second only?
Hi i am new to the forum, i have car eperience from years ago.
Help! i have a Renault Laguna 2.0 rti petrol 1999 with a problem starting. Last night the engine fired up for a second then died. The new halfords battery fitted earlier this year has been struggling for a while, ever though it is correctly rated. So the car was now flat. I jumped it with leads and it fired up as normal. This morning the same thing happend so a repeated the process. I drove too the local cash machine and switched off the engine. It happend again only this time it will not start. I have fuel in the tank. I have taken the plugs out and checked for a spark which, was not evident when earthed i even held the plugs by had from each coil pack. So its the crank sensor right? i have taken the crank sensor off and it seams ok externally no metal contaniments.
The fuel pressure seams a bit lazy too. I took the dust cap off the fuel rail and depressed it and fuel ran out. i tried this again after a good few cranks testing other parts and none came out. The car did start evenually for a split second again this morning and the fuel presseure on the fuel rail was back. Could i have a intermittent fuel problem with the pump? or is it immoberliser related? (coil packs?)
I hope this is readable as time is frantic!

I'm Baffled!!!!!
I have a 2003 Espace Mk IV 2.2Dci and my engine keeps cutting out occasionally!!
I've read loads of post of engines cutting out on load and acceleration but nothing much on deceleration. I've recently done a complete engine rebuild due to the high mileage (159000 miles) and replaced all gaskets, injectors, stem seals, timing belt and had the ECU reset but since doing all of the above, the engine sometimes cuts out.:confused:
I've changed TDC sensor, Cam sensor, leakback sensor and double checked all the timing etc but to no avail.
The engine is excellent on acceleration and runs brilliant all the time except on occasions going downhill or slowing down!! I did read some other post about something to do with the brake switch needs adjusting, but thats ok as well. I've love the car since we got it in 2009 and I'm really begining to get to the point of getting rid of it.
Any suggestions?????

Hi all, got a Laguna 08. Sat in it today and the front wipers arent working. The rear one does and the front windscreen wash works ok.
Couldnt find a fuse in the fuse box so opened the bonnet and looked inside the fusebox there where the big fuses are. I pulled out a couple of fuses like an idiot to see if any had blown as i dont have a fuse diagram for this fuse box but cant find the one for the front wipers.
So, can anyone point me in a direction of a fuse diagram and also now, when i turn on the ignition the warnings

`check abs` all apear along with the orange spanner.
How do I clear these?

Wide Open Throtte Start - Diesel dci?
In a petrol car it is standard that if you hit the ignition with the throttle pressed all the way down, it will run a flood clear procedure turning over but not injecting any fuel.
Is it the same on a diesel? What happens if you start it with your foot right down?
I ask because I've been cleaning my EGR and the air inlet manifold and have a fair but of light oil and methanol down there now. It would probably be best to run it over a few times to clear it out before doing a proper start. I did use methanol because I know it doesn't pre-detonate, so it should be okay anyway.

Espace gearbox problems

I have a 2000 Espace 2.0 16v. She has done 113k.
Recently, within the last 500 miles or so, I've noticed a whine and feint rumbling sound from the front of the car when either accelerating, driving or slowing down and which stops when stationary. Rumbing sound is a bit more pronounced on right hand corners for some reason.
Not sure if its a co-incidence but the problem seemed to start after a steady 125 mile cruise down the M5 during which smoke started coming out from under the bonnet when I pulled into the services.
Having limped home my local garage put the smoke down to an oil leak from rocker box gasket or camshaft oil seal causing a build up that then got onto the exhaust. Have cleaned her up and just getting rid of residual oil. The garage thought the whine could be the gearbox. the noise is getting louder and its getting harder to sync when changing from 2nd to 3rd unless done very slowly.
Anyone got any thoughts. If its the gearbox on the way out is this likely to be a big expensive job.

got a problem with the wipers slowing down then stopping completely in heavy rain,i say this is dangerous because it happened yesterday on the motorway in a torrential downpour.after pulling over and waiting for a while they started again.could this be a water drainage problem ???? ie motor getting flooded????. I have just spent 15 mins on the drive with wipers on full speed and no problem at all ?????
any suggestions please

Hiya, I have just bought a 07 laguna dynamique 2.0 dc.
I dont know how, but did not notice that the rubber seal on the drivers side of the windscreen was missing.
Question is, is this going to cause a water leaqk, do these come in one compleate unit or in sections,?

Clio IV - Creaking Noise at the rear
Hi all,
My3 month old Clio has just gone into the dealers to sort out a horrendous creaking noise at the rear of the car. Seems to be coming from passenger side corner and terrible if there is twist across the rear axle. I cant tell if its suspension or interior plastics. Nothing seems loose inside.
They need the far for a week apparently so got a courtesy car.
Car has only done 1700 miles.
Got the usual 'this sounds like an unusual problem' from the dealer but saw someone else s quick comment in here that theirs is going in for the same. My car does have the spare wheel kit if that makes a difference...

Hi I have Renault laguna dynamique estate n my heaters seem 2 b all the same I turn the dail 2 change from front window 2 maybe blowing at me but it all seems to be the same setting n doesn't blow on front windscreen any ideas??
Espace III 3 exhaust manifold suspect leaks / cracked
Hi. My Grand Espace III has been doing 'phut phut phut' from the front exhaust area when I start up, but only for 1 or 2 minutes. Seals up once under way, but does seem to be getting a slightly bigger 'phut' recently. Wife can't even hear it.
It has been doing it for over a year now, but I don't do many miles so haven't concerned myself about it too much.
However, the whole exhaust system is now rusty and needs replacing, from front cat down pipe and the rest. My fear is that the disruption in replacing the down pipe might aggravate this leak. It is not beyond the realms of possibility that it is actually the down pipe union that is leaking, but I do not seem to be getting many 'good luck' stories recently so I rather think it is a cracked manifold or leaking gasket.

Any suggestions on anything else to consider, or any tips on how to proceed, are most welcome.
I'd also be keen if anyone could explain espace engine numbers. The K7601 part (Renault #8200266475) runs to engine no. 0990726 and covers all 2.0 16V engines on Laguna, Megane, etc. to March 2001, and K7602 (Renault #8200266466) is espace only after. My engine no starts 'C00', so is that after '099'? Again, good luck stories are rare these days so I am presuming it is the more expensive manifold for me!

However, the whole exhaust system is now rusty and needs replacing, from front cat down pipe and the rest. My fear is that the disruption in replacing the down pipe might aggravate this leak. It is not beyond the realms of possibility that it is actually the down pipe union that is leaking, but I do not seem to be getting many 'good luck' stories recently so I rather think it is a cracked manifold or leaking gasket.

That previous thread also indicates a partial engine drop, so big job too ... :crazy: ... which I'd ask a garage to do so more big money.
Any suggestions on anything else to consider, or any tips on how to proceed, are most welcome.
I'd also be keen if anyone could explain espace engine numbers. The K7601 part (Renault #8200266475) runs to engine no. 0990726 and covers all 2.0 16V engines on Laguna, Megane, etc. to March 2001, and K7602 (Renault #8200266466) is espace only after. My engine no starts 'C00', so is that after '099'? Again, good luck stories are rare these days so I am presuming it is the more expensive manifold for me!
Scenic Megane II electric problems
I have Megane II Scenic diesel and problem is draining battery over night, but I noticed that display will not turn off when I switch off the engine and come out of the car and lock it. Still display is on, and in the morning - no power to start engine. I replaced battery, nothing helps. Every night I have to disconnect battery from the car. Please, advice.

Just had a quick look under my car to check to make sure I've got all the sockets I need for my rear brake change in a few weeks and for once it's paid off as I've found a Star bit holds my rear brakes caliper carriers on.
Does anyone happen to know the size required to remove these? I tried slotting in my old trusty T50 socket only to find it's too small, so instead of guessing an buying a couple of the next sizes figured I thought I'd ask first.
I did find this guide (http://ift.tt/1iIUvme) which said in the comments that a 13mm hex socket would do the job, but being that the guide was probably written for an older Megane (mk 2 probably?) and I'd also like the right tool for the job which is why I'm asking here.
If you need any pics let me know.

Hi all, please please help me... I've had to have a new radiator put in my Magane 1.6 vvt 53 plate but before that the car overheated and I had to keep going for a small while to get it home.. Now the Service and Toxic warning light is constantly on and I'm worried that I have damaged the engine. I can't see any messages on the dashboard. Help ? :crying:

Just wanted tips on what I should go over. I'm no mechanic but basics should be ok.
I'm not going to dump any real money into this til I know it's worth it! Thing is, it's only had 2 owners and pretty low mileage for the age. Might turn out to be with keeping.

Basic key fob question
Clio 1998 think it's a Clio II.
Key fob - 1 or 2 CR2016 batteries?
I have one in at the moment and it does work but it's very hard, I have to press very hard and several times to get it to lock and unlock.
No range. I have to stand and point it through the window.
Thinking either missing battery, and therefore lacking punch or the must be a way to improve contact?

Back to a 2 Renault family again
Well of course I got a new to me car so her indoors has gone one better and took delivery today of her brand new Clio Dynamique Medianav S 1.5 dci auto.
She has not even let me have a try of it yet !

Scenic 1.5 dci 100, DF097-P0325
I got the car a week ago and thought it wasn't running quite right (idle seemed erratic) and service light wont extinguish so I put on my diagnostic and got these codes,
I assume P0325 is the knock sensor rather than Accelerometer ?
DF097 cam shaft sensor makes sense as I found this connector next to the injector rail, Not plugged into anything.
Reconnected cam sensor but came back same fault DF097 so i replaced with a new sensor and sure enough it throws the same codes at me again. Tried erasing them both but still come back.
Anyone have a clue whats going on please ?

Modus ignition key prob
Hi just bought 04 modus and can't get the key in to start the car so get out my tool box and add some 3in1 key in but won't turn spend 2/3 hours and left it there.
Next day after reading all I could find on internet I buy spray contact cleaner and magic it works, does anyone know what if any oil or lubricant I should put in key hole many thank :cool:

2013 Clio IV speaker upgrade

I am trying to find an upgrade to my 2013 Clio MkIV door speakers. I can't believe how **** the OEM speakers are, they distort at anything over half volume and you can't have any bass whatsoever or they sound like they will disintegrate! Why Renault have the nerve to dress up the front speaker grilles with 'BASS REFLEX' is beyond a joke. Anyways I'm trying to get some replacements in ASAP but the original rear ones have only 3 fixings and are riveted in. I haven't looked at the fronts yet but I fear they will be the same. Any one done a speaker upgrade to one yet, or any help at all would be great.

The car is an S reg (98) Clio 1.4 RT. 2 Owners from new, 73K miles.
I bought this car super cheap, circumstances pretty much dictated that I had little choice in the matter. Basically for how soon I needed it, and for the money I had this was the only option I had to get back on the road ASAP.
I bought the car 2 nights ago, and drove it home about 20 miles, and it drove fine, if anything I was quote surprised how well it drove.
Next day, I drove to the shops and back (few miles tops), again, fine.
Today I drove to my friends house. Fine.
Went to go get some lunch and as soon as it started I knew there was something wrong. It barely idled, lumpy and hell, the car was shaking. Car drove almost like it was in some kind of limp mode, getting to 30mph took about 10 years. Decided it wasnt safe and parked it up.
Revs in idle fine. No lights on dash.
Popped the bonnet, and found a loose plug dangling - straight away I was hopeful this had just come loose.
I'll get some pics of the plug and where I plugged it in ASAP.
Took the car for a test drive, and it was no better, then all of a sudden, it just sprang back to life. I had hoped this was it, til I went back out and again it was all lumpy. Again after a mile or so it sprang back to life.
Last trip (again only a few miles) completely fine.
I will be going back out again in a few hours and will report back to how it is.
Just want to know what is causing this?
Other than that, the only other big problem is the locks but I will start a separate thread for that.

Laguna headlight aim too high
The headlight/lamp whichever you want to call it, is too high. The garage where it failed it's MOT on this said they couldn't adjust it manually either. What needs to be bought to rectify this problem? Is it the entire headlight and where can i buy one thats cheap in Kent?
Megane mk1 Repairing flexi pipe on cat conv pipe
Tomorrow I'm going to weld a new short piece of flexi pipe to the front part of my exhaust that has the catalytic convertor (which is still ok).
The three bolts that fix the exhaust to the manifold look like inside out torx bolts meaning they look like a torx wrench rather than having a hole in them that a torx wrench fits into.
They are quite rusty and look like they have a nut on them too.
Can anyone confirm what size they are or what tools I will need to remove them?

Windows not working, motor ok, 12v present???
Hey guys and gals, new here, be gentle!
Both electric windows packed up on mums Megane 2.
The drivers on was the electronic module attached to the motor, I've replaced that and all is well.
On the passenger side there is no module, I've unplugged the motor and have tested and have 12v present when either drivers or passenger side switch for that window is operated. I've also removed the motor and tested that with a direct feed from the battery and it spins both directions happily. But if I plug it onto its connection, and operate the switch.....nothing!
What the hell is going on!!!
I've tried the search function but keeps leeding to feeds about replacing the module.

this is my problem - have a 3.5T renault master 04 120dci LH35, bought it drove it home started fine, left for 2-3weeks now struggles to start engine turns over just doesnt actually start or when it does have to rev it loads or it cuts out or just cuts out once started, breakdown sprayed easistart on the engine but has done it again, did take it out for a blast for 30miles after the easi start, next day started 4th time lucky with the gfoot on the throttle for bout 20secs, any ideas?

Jet washing under the bonnett
Would anyone give any advice on the subject of jet washing under the bonnet.
2.2 Laguna 2004 and the engine is pretty grotty with carbon build up on the engine and around the injectors.
If I avoided the electrics would this be wise or not, jetting the whole of the engine bay, and underneath to clean things up?

Clio 1.4 Auto, smoking after idle
Hi guys, any idea on this one before I start digging deeper?
1997 clio 1.4 automatic 51.000 miles only. last 2 days has been giving the following symptoms
after idling at a junction then setting off it blows out a cloud of greyish smoke from the exhaust clears as it accelerates but when I slow back down or wait at another junction does the same
tried it on the driveway in park, let it tickover and if I open the throttle the greyish smoke blooms out clears a little but still smoking, also has a very strange smell to it, definitely not burning any oil and the coolant level hasn't dropped either, however as the car gets warmer it begins to misfire slightly too, I checked the plugs and they are pretty damp even if I take them out when engine hot,
so I am thinking that either I have contaminated fuel, or that I have problems on the ignition side and the fuel isn't burning correctly and its pushing unburnt fuel out the exhaust, and to be honest I am not even sure if this older car has a CAT fitted?
any ideas?
I will firstly fit a new set of plugs and make sure ignition system is up to scratch and go from there

New Renault clio incorrect vin

I am new to this site < i was about to collect my new renault clio today but unfortunatly i had a call to delay my collection as my car VIN chassis number did not match the paperwork.
I have no idea what this means and wonder what this means to me.
I have not collected the vehicle and my saleman said it will be fine ??
Would value any opinion if there are any to have.thanks all :cool:

Laguna II ESP Fault DF075 Steering Angle Sensor
I just wanted to share my experience.
My Laguna II had been giving an ESP fault which my CliP device revealed to be error DF075 'Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Signal'.
There is a sensor behind the steering wheel which detects the angle and in my case it was miss-aligned. Presumably if the wires or the device itself are faulty you will also get this error.
Anyway, you can get to it quite easily:
1) Remove airbag. Firstly disconnect the battery. There is a little hole in the back of the steering wheel and if you put a screwdriver in there you can press a metal spring-clip. Just push it, nothing special. At the same time push the airbag upwards. It will slide up off it's clips and you can then take it out. There are two connectors on it (green left, blue right) which need to be taken out before you can put the airbag to one side. Try to keep the airbag facing away from you, just in case it goes off.
2) Disconnect the steering wheel control connectors. There are two plugs.
3) Un-do the central bolt that holds the steering wheel on. It is a large torx. I'm not sure what side since my torx driver was too rusty to see the markings! It's quite big though, more tham y usual domestic kit had in it. Luckily I had one from doing the lower ball joints previously on my Pug 306.
4) Take the wheel off and you can see the rotational sensor.
In my case this sensor had been spun around many times, presumably when someone had taken the steering wheel off to do other work. You most likely can't get this back in the right positon without the Renault CliP device to read out the angle signal the car is getting. In my case it was reading -700deg!!!
Looking at the CliP readout I span the sensor around until it read 0Deg and put the steering wheel, controls and airbag carefully back on. I erased the fault code and job done :) No ESP fault!
You can see here my steering wheel is resting at -3deg. Obviously 0deg is straight ahead but the road camber pulls it a little where I parked.
Note: Please let me know if you can or can't see the photos I've just changed to using Google Photos and someone told me I need to make them public.

'Possible damage to hub carrier' Renault Kangoo 2007
Recently took my (newly bought) second hand Kangoo 2007 for a service. I knew when I bought it that it had a couple of category C claims on it, so wasn't too surprised when I was told that the front driver side camber angle was out due to possible damage to the hub carrier. At the same time as the service I booked it in to have the tracking done as I thought that was the reason the steering wheel was constantly pulling me left but this clearly hasn't fixed it.
What I'm wondering is whether it's worth the money to fix this van as I have no idea how long it will take to replace a hub carrier and indeed if this will fix the problem permanently or will it always liable to breaking?
Also is there any other damage apart from excessive tyre wear this sort of issue can have?

Up to that point, the engine started first time every time and ran well.
After the belt and pump install, the engine does not want to start and I have just attempted in excess of 30 times to get the van started and then it just did. What on earth is going on; what would my mechanic have done to have changed the starting performance of my van????

Trafic - oil drip from underside open-ended hose

Could somebody please explain to me what the open-ended rubber hose is on the underside of my Renault Trafic (DCI) bonnet?
This vertical hose is located below the engine, and has been dripping a bit of oil...not a lot, but enough to mark my drive.
What is the likely reason for it to drip oil?

Hi folks, my name's Paul, i'm 27 and I live in beautiful Wales with my girlfriend Megan in a charming little town of just 3000 people, nestled in a Valley beneath a huge 3000ft mountain, it's spectacular! There are some amazing traffic free roads here for anybody who likes a good drive too.

So after testing a few cars, I decided to go for a Clio. Only picked "Chloe" up about 10 days ago, but she's a great car, drives lovely and has so many toys and gadgets! Obviously no performance car like the Abarth, but only the power is worse, every other aspect, build, ride, running costs, practicality, interior room etc are all leagues ahead of my bouncy little Fiat! So I do miss the cheeky little Italian, the noise, the speed the crazy loud backfires, but it's time to be sensible now and enjoy saving money hopefully (which I work out to be almost £2000 a year better off now!)
This is my first French car, i'm by no means a badge snob, i'll give anything a go. I've had 3 Italian car and the rest have been Malaysian/Japanese etc. Hoping to meet some new people, possibly organise some drives and no doubt i'll have some querky questions about Chloe very soon!
Renault want £1100 to replace 08 Trafic Injectors, is this the best way forward?

I posted on another thread about my sluggish and stuttering Trafic and it went into the main dealers this morning. It transpires that they think that all 4 injectors need replacing at a cost of £2200, however without prompting they mentioned that Renault were prepared to help out with 50% of the cost. I know the injectors are around £220 each so this seems like a good deal. I am pretty handy with a spanner, could I save anything by stripping back to the injectors, getting a specialist to remove them then sourcing some aftermarket injectors. If I only stand to save a few quid then the main dealers get it!

Megane Diamonique Radio Code help needed
I need help with radio code on my megane Diamonique. Taken the car to the garage to get the ITV (MOT) done and a full service. Car came back and because they had disconnected the battery the code needed to be put in again for the radio. One small problem, the code that I have that I have used before does not now work. So I have no radio as the dash simply says code. Is there a way to reset it back to factory settings so that I can put a new code in again so I can get the radio/CDs playing again. All worked fine until the garage. HELP!!!! :-) Thank you in advance

Radio is a 281152957r and the display is a 280341078r , all plugs connect perfectly, yet nothing on the display. CD player will try to eject but nothing else. The van hasn't caught fire ?
Do the radios , displays, looms have to be mated and divorced like the older double din units or have I got a mismatch of loom to radio and display? Surely there aren't that many differences.

Megane I DCI Oil Leak

This is my first post on here, so if this has been repeated or what I type sounds naive, please forgive me as Cars are not my strongpoint.
To cut a long story short Im the owner of a Renault Megane 1.9 DCI MK 1 52 Plate. The car has been really good and has got me from A-B. However, I'm due to go to University this September and I am debating whether or not to keep the car or go to something cheaper (such as a Clio, keeping it in Renault spirit!)
One issue my Dad spotted was an oil leak, nothing excessive, just a handful of small drops on our drive. We asked a local mechanic to check this out and I was informed 'my turbo is going'. At this point I panicked as I realised replacing a whole turbo is an expensive process. I did ask another mechanic to check who only informed me it was a seal that needed changing.
The car has since passed it's most recent MOT as of last week with nothing wrong and this has re-assured me that it's not too bad. Since having said seal changed I think there has been some oil drops, but I've been told on diesel cars this does occur.
I guess really I'm after two things, is it worth keeping (it's done 115,000) for a few more years and should I worry about this oil leak/turbo/seal situation.

Kangoo 2003 1.9 Radiator Cooling Fan Problems
Hi,
my cooling fan woun't work, even when temp becomes high. it doesn't work even when AC is on.
checks I made:
0. fan circuit 50A fuse burned, and replaced.
1. fan has good ground.
2. fan motor is ok (checked with direct connection)
3. both relays for high and low speed are ok.
4. fan resistor for low speed is damaged (Thermal Fuse burned out and the spring is fine, so I made detour for now).
5. when doing detour for each one of the relays, it activate the fan.
The Problem:
Car temp rising, but the relays don't get any ground to it, so the fan isn't starting to work.
also, when disconnecting the relays, there is 12V+ in the wire that should containg ground for activating the fan.
finally, when driving with no traffic and no AC on, car temp on gauge remain steady on the middle, so probably it's not thermostat.
What could it be?
Could it be the temp sensor? (it has 4 wires)
If you think it is, so why when AC on the fan isn't working, and why temp on gauge is fine?
I'm not sure how to check the temp sensor...
Also, do you know what thermal fuse I should buy for the resistor? I can't read the temp data on it since it's wiped out.

Renault 55 rattling at the back
Hi. Can anyone help. My renault started rattling yesterday which I assumed May have been the loose parcel shelf or something simple. However today it's worse. I've checked underneath and it appears that on both sides by each back wheel their is parts of the underneath dropping down. The exhaust seems fine but I'm concerned it may be the suspension.m can anyone help. I'm not willing to drive the car to a garage and am waiting until my husband can do it for me.
Megane 2 starting issue
Hi, I have a 2004 megane cc manual 2.0. A couple of months ago car would not respond to keycard. Used spare card to unlock and the jump started car ok. Then replaced battery and car has been ok. Now car will not start with keycard. Car will unlock (except boot) but no lights come on on dash when key inserted into slot. Headlights work ok as does light in dash where card is inserted. Neither keycard will work to start car.
Anyone offer any help?

Excessive bounce coming from front
Hi I have a 2002 Renault scenic which suddenly developed excessive bounce at the front and is all over the road. When I turn a bend it feels like the rear of the car wants to 'drift' and when I go over bumps in the road it feels like a boat on a choppy sea. My husband has had new tyres fitted and balanced and the tracking checked but it made no difference so now I am thinking springs.
Can anyone tell me if it is likely to be this or something else please before I waste money getting something I don't need.

Low idle on startup and now poor starting.
Hello, I'm new to forums and haven't really got to grips with how it all works. So apologies if I make any mistakes.
I have a 2001 Clio 1.9 dTi, for a couple of years now it has been starting with a low idle speed (about 500 rpm) and no throttle response. After 5-10 seconds the idle gradually climbed to normal and the throttle would begin to work normally.
Now the car is becoming more difficult to start, but runs fine once it does, except that the glow plug/ electrical incident light comes on and off at random, sometimes accompanied by a loss in power.
This may be two separate problems, I'm not sure, any help greatly appreciated.

Megane I 2.0 16v Coupe Rear Discs / Other Models
Hi, I Need to replace the rear bearings/ Discs & abs rings on my megane coupe.Does anyone know if i can fit discs bearing and abs rings from another model. Ive seen some sets for the clio 172 and they look to be the same. the megane discs are 238mm with the outer abs "cog" type ring. Thanks.... Dave

What is the difference between the cylinder heads 6660 & 4954. Are they interchangeable & if so what else would need to be changed, camshaft pulley, camshaft, brackets etc

Just a random thought really. Why is it that Renault Radiator fans generally take ages to kick in- Presumably they don't just run cooler than other engines?
For example, my Little Citroen Saxo VTR's (Which I've now departed with) fan used to kick in within I'd say 5 minutes of idling. However all 3 of my Clio's have taken at least 30 mins in traffic, including my Mk3 1.5DCI which has a fairly crowded engine bay which, at first, made me believe it was broken.
Any Thoughts? :think:

I drove for about 80kms stopped and then restarted the car after 1 minute to be greeted with clouds of smoke from the exhaust
My laguna has an oil leak,I have been told from the turbo,is it a hard job to change the turbo and how do I order a new one
Every one I have contacted want the no off the old turbo and it is impossible to see a no unless I take the turbo off

I spent some of last night mooching round here and have to say it seems a very friendly and helpful place.
I am not really a car person - if it starts (which ironically mine won't at the minute :p ) that's fine with me. What are infinitely more important are our two dogs - both rescue mutts - and our moggy.
I live with a mechanic - well he trained in the 70s so his knowledge may be a bit dated :eek: - and so have learned the basics, moreso with petrol cars than diesels but am willing to have a crack at straight forward things like brake pads, changing filters etc.
Looking forward to learning more from this site.

Scenic 1.9 DCI W reg - problems starting when hot.

I have had a good read through the articles and threads (what a great site this is :)) and have got some ideas but wanted to run my specific set of circumstances by you.
We have had the Scenic about a month and it has been a great car - had been starting fine and runs well. On Tuesday whilst driving the fuel injector/coolant warning light started flicking on and off. I checked and the coolant level was sitting at minimum so i topped up hoping that would be the end of it.
Unfortunately the light has continued to flick on and off - never stays on for long - and I am now having problems restarting the car when the engine is hot. It turns over fine - and occasionally fires - but won't start until it has cooled down. For example it started first time this morning and I have driven the 17 miles to work with no problem (with that warning light flicking on and off) but when I tried to restart in the car park it was having none of it.
I have read about TDC sensors but none of the threads say whether that problem would affect the warning light I mentioned. And I think a fuel filter change solved a similar problem for someone else....
I know the most straight forward thing to do would be take it to get it checked by one of those diagnostic thingies but we are flat broke and if there were something we could try first at least I could still feed the dogs this week!!!!

Yet another window problem. Urgent help needed
2005 scenic 2. Electric windows stopped working last year,replaced the faulty bit with one of the boxes off eBay ,all good. Go to car this morning and drivers side window is down . Took the door card off and an awful smell of burning from the replacement box. Triied the 40 fuse trick nothing.......is there a way to manually lift the window as a temporary fix as I probably won't be able to get a new box till Tuesday. thanks in advance.

renault megane 2004 center instrument cluster flashing

On my way home to night the part of the cluster where the mpg and mileage is shown started flickering and it show loads of arrows going to the to right and a number 1 on the top left?
i have checked the car and it has no fault codes at all

renault scenic 1.9 dt diesel non start yellow electronic incident light flashing help
We have a 1998 renault scenic 1.9 turbo diesel
We bought it with a fault, sometimes the yellow electronic incident light constantly flashes and the car wont start, sometimes it will, the remote locks and unlocks the car fine, but the key will not lock/unlock in drivers door (but did the day we bought it and started perfectly) next day no start??
Have removed crankshaft sensor cleaned and replaced
Checked and cleaned all fuses
Swapped relays over
Checked wiring checked battery etc

We bought it with a fault, sometimes the yellow electronic incident light constantly flashes and the car wont start, sometimes it will, the remote locks and unlocks the car fine, but the key will not lock/unlock in drivers door (but did the day we bought it and started perfectly) next day no start??
Have removed crankshaft sensor cleaned and replaced
Checked and cleaned all fuses
Swapped relays over
Checked wiring checked battery etc

Clio wont start,
Hi all, i have a problem with my daughters clio, 05 plate 1.2 petrol, she went out this morning to work and the car would not start, it was as if the battery was flat, so i jumped it and it started, but when she finished work it would not start again, so she got another battery and still the same, the original battery has the green light glowing so that tells me the battery is good, but it wont start without a jump, is this a earth issue, if so how do i cure it, also since this has happened the remote blipper wont work, thanks in advance for any info.

as it says in title can get in car and drive for no more than a minute and the doors will lock even when not driving it no more than a minute afer getting out and the car locks itself any one know how to sort it thanks
Espace IV Dashboard repeated failure

We have a 2003 3.0DCi Grand Espace with a dashboard that has failed for the 3rd time.
The guys at Cartronix have been fabulous and have said to send it back again for repair. They say it's unusual for a dash to fail repeatedly like this.
So my question is:
Is there another reason why the dash would fail?
When removed it was very HOT but Cartonix say that's normal. It has been suggested by a friend that a voltage regulator maybe to blame - where is it?
Anyone else with an idea?

alternator no charge espace 1.9 dti 2004
my alternator wasn't charging and I had the warning lights on the dash telling me there was a fault with battery charging. I connected a multy meter to the output of the alternator bolt and the other lead to negative, it was giving no voltage, i.e. it read the same as what was in the battery, so I brought a replacement alternator had it fitted and now I don't get the dash board warning any more but sadly its still not charging the battery, could this be either 1) the diagnostics need clearing before the alternator will kick in or 2) the relay (where ever that is need replacing) I do have the Renault can clip diagnostics hardware but I need the software to run is as the dvd I had is missing and I've updated my laptop so have no hard copy to hand. any help please as the cars going no ware until I get it to charge the battery. thanks.

What is involved to remove front bumper on my 2010 Mk 111 Scenic 1.9 Dci and how long does it take as I want to fit LED running lights but it appears you have to remove it to fit them.
cruise control
does the cruise control have a fuse on the Renault megane as I cannot locate it. my cruise control shows on the dash that the switch is on but if I press the + on the steering it doesn't activate, even the speed limiter. I have check the switch on the clutch but that is ok. any idea what could be wrong?
Clio Automatic Gearbox problems
We have a 15k mile Clio and the automatic gearbox locks up after the first minute of the day. After turning off and restarting the auto box works very well all day.It locks up more quickly when it is not used daily. Only once each day.
We have had an oil change but it may be that we could use a lighter oil than recommended by the handbook.
Has any one else had a problem?

as my car got day time running lights
i have a grand scenic on a 60 plate first reg in jan 2011 i know it sounds supid but i have checked and thier is no lights on but i want to know if my model have them as i have read that renault have been knowen to turn them off
Fuel filter change problem DCI 86
I have changed the fuel filter on the 2007 Clio MK3 1.5 DCI 86.
When I removed the oil filter there was ample fuel in the filter that drained out. When I try to prime the system with the hand pump after fitting the new filter, no fuel is coming to the diesel filter - only air. No fuel seems to be coming to the hand pump either. The car is standing on axle stands at a slight tilt to the left and with about 13L left in the tank.

Scenic 2 handbrake
I was having a chat to a workmate regarding the emergency parking brake release on our Scenic 2 as he had a Passat which doesn't have this facility if there is a problem with the brake.
I thought I best check that ours was working , just in case we had an issue. Guess what - I can't find the release handle , it is not where the manual said it is and there is only ONE cable coming from the mechanism under the car next to the wheel well , this goes to the splitter . There is a short cable (150mm) that also comes from the mechanism but it has a sealed end ???
The car was a one owner vehicle purchased from a main Renault dealer.
Thoughts ???

Hi all, scanned my clio a couple of days ago and came up with something I am really unsure of, they are as follows:
100 air temperature sensor circuit open or short to +12v - current
586 programming throttle limits short to earth - current
I know they are not standard codes but I have tried reading it using every engine option On the scanner (solus pro) it also comes up with the exact same numbers and codes using a Mac tools plug in.
I believe it may be an electrical fault, but I'm far from clever when it comes to diagnosing electrical faults
Any help On where to start would be much appreciated. Thanks

Can't figure this out
Can someone please help. The computer on my Scenic RX4 was showing flashing dashes. I got instructions from this forum on how to do a reset. However, over a few days it reverts back to the flashing dashes. I have done several resets, all with the same results. Even with the resets, it wasn't giving the fuel used and showing that I was getting 99.9 mpg, or giving estimated mileage until refuel. Is there another way of doing a reset. What if I were to dis-connect the battery, would that do something like a re-boot. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have bought a Laguna Estate 2.0dci two weeks ago. What I have noticed is that the dash is making a constant 'zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz' sound. When I was buying the car two other Lagunas I looked at had the same 'zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz' noise going on all the time as soon as I started the engine, drove it and stopped the engine. It is not too obtrusive (it is for the mrs) and I was wondering whether this is something normal and all the lagunas doing this.
Could you please let me know whether you have experienced anything similar.

Clutch gone, can't disengage handbrake
hello everyone. I have a problem in that the clutch has gone on my G Scenic mk2. Something has burst and the clutch fluid has leaked out. It has happened on my driveway and the electronic hand brake is on. I can't engage a gear to take the brake off.
In a bit of a pickle because it's effectively a sculpture as it is! I've read other threads on this sort of leak and consensus seems to be that it may be the slave cylinder within the gearbox.
I don't expect miraculous answers, but any suggestions would be appreciated - I'm clueless about how to start getting this fixed.:confused:

car wont start
Hi I have posted in scenic section but think it may be more of a immobiliser problem, My key card will not work to open the doors even though I have replaced battery.
I gained access using the emergency key which set off the car alarm, nothing is displayed on the dash apart from a fast flashing red light and I can hear a slight clicking noise.
Nothing happened when I put the card in the reader no lights nothing, central locking button does not work nor does door control panel... done the obvious disconnected the battery left it 15 minutes at reconnected same problem. Phoned Renault dealer who advised that it could be costly and advised recovery. Obviously I want to know how much before I shell out on recovery for an 05 plate grand scenic... any ideas of what the cause could be? TIA

We have a 2006 Grand Scenic 2, 1.5 dci. which we have loved for the last 5 years. It's never let us down and we've taken it to Spain 3 times as a furniture van!
It hasn't let us down - until last weekend, and I'm getting ready to trawl through previous posts to see if other people have had the same issue.

key card not working car won't start
Sorry if this has been asked before I can't find my exact problem on search.
I have a grand scenic 2005, this morning the key card did not work, after a 2 mile walk to the shop and back and purchasing new batteries it still did not open the car. Used the emergency key to gain access and the car alarm goes off, I can a flashing red light on the dash which sounds like it is clicking, the control panel for windows ect is not working nor is the central locking button, nothing happens when I place my card in the reader no lights or anything is displayed on the dash its blank.. any ideas on how I can get my car started:confused:

Electronic roof problem on 54 Cabriolet
Hi, new to this site....
Today I was in process of opening my Cabriolet roof when it became clear I was parked too close to the wall behind me and the roof crunched a bit and stopped going up!!
I managed to get the roof down ok and locked but am scared to open it again to see if it is ok or not!! There is also damage to the roof trim on one side.
Anyone been in a similar situation?!?!
Should I just take it to the garage??
Any help gratefully received.

well the problem came back after a week or 2 so i took it back to him and he told me that he does'nt know what the problem is and that will be 25€ for the info...bearing in mind i had just payed him the best part of 500€ to fix the problem amongst other things (rear suspensión change also)
I have looked at the TDC sensor and it is Brand new.
I know Little to nothing about mechanics but im sick of being ripped off!

Any ideas would be appreciated ;)

One of the tailgate hinge pins has broken .
Been to local Renault dealers but they say neither the pin or the whole hinge is stocked as a replacable part.

Strange snoring/whistling noise when cold start

I have attached a sound recording of this weird intermittent fast repetitive snoring/whistling noise. It started about a month ago, and the sound starts when cold starting the car. After about 3 mins (after engine has warmed up a bit), the sound completely disappears, and it simply sounds normal again. It sounds like some vibration related noise, ive tried gripping everywhere I can with my hands to see if I can locate/quiet it, but no luck.
The sound is most loudest when you listen at the back of the airbox, little bit more towards the offside (drivers side).
I have put the microphone most of the time at this area, but sometimes I have tried moving it to other places (more at the front where the injectors are), and the sound quietens, then I put the microphone back to the back of the airbox, and the sound is louder again.
This doesnt really bother me, as the sound goes in such short amount of time, but I just vividly remember that it used to sound normal when cold starting (just like it does after the 3 min warmup), its never made this noise before, its just appeared all of a sudden, haven't done anything to the car beforehand.
Hopefully all you experts here will be able to recognise it. Any ideas what it could be? Hope ive explained everything.

Replacement radio question
Hi All, first post and I've had a search but can't find anything so sorry if it's been asked.
Just changed from an 06 Megane to a 57 Laguna tourer. What a change! Loving it so far.
However, I'm trying to put the JVC stereo I got for the Megane into the Laguna and having an issue. Both Renault units are update list. All connectors are the same, as far as I can tell, but when the Laguna powers down i.e. Keycard out and lock the car, the stereo stays powered on? Didn't do it in the Megane?
Do I need to do anything different with the Laguna? Any wires I need to cut/swap?
Any advice gratefully received.

Megane CC - roof mechanism fault
today the error message 'roof mechanism fault' appeared again.
After some tries I could isolate the fault - when the boot lid is closed after closing the roof apparently the hydraulics does not get the message 'lid is closed, stop pumping' but continues to pump. Also the electronic seem not to get the 'lid closed' message and shows the error message then.
The hydraulics continues to pump for some time until the pump gets quite hot and cuts off.
So somewhere there has to be a sensor that sends the 'lid is closed' message to the hydraulics and electronic - does anybody have a clue where to find this sensor or where the 'lid is closed' message comes from?

Inlet manifold/throttle body gasket
Hi, Hope this thread is in the right area as i have not posted on the forums before.
I am pretty sure I have a vacuum leak so i am going to change all the gaskets on the inlet manifold. i have sourced the 4 matching ones for one side of the manifold but cannot find a replacement for the egg shaped one on the other side :/. Are these supposed to be replaced or just repaired? dont want to take the manifold off to then find it knackered and then be carless until i can find one. thanks in advance

no oil pressure
espace 2.2 12v t/d cranking over oil pressure only 2lbs per sq inch, cleaned pump strainer, relieve valve free, fitted oil pressure test gauge, checked it with a second test gauge, both read same, new oil, new filter,pump pumped oil on bench in tank but without any back pressure,is there any where in the block that could be relieving the pressure , built it back up slackened oil cooler flange plate turned over engine plenty oil flow ?.

I was driving last week and fuel was a little low, and the van stuttered as if it were running out of fuel then ran fine. I filled her up and she did it again, this time the engine and stop light flashed, then went out. I was close to home so gingerly drove back. The next day it did similar, it is fine at low revs, under 1500, then if you try and pull up a hill it starts to stutter and momentarily lose power, the same lights flash up. On a short test drive it seems to be getting worse. I took it to the local garage and they said there was smoke inside the cylinder head and did not really want to touch it as it would probably cost more than a new engine if they started stripping it down. It starts to stutter and lights flash at around 2000rpm.
I am handy with the tools if I know what to look for, searching the history is a mine field. What would you recommend as the next course of action of things to check.

My clio has developed a new problem where I can drive it fine for around 20 minutes and then it just turns off with and won't start again for up to 24 hours. The engine still turns over, but it just won't start. Occasionally there is a sign that it is about to happen that when you change gear the car judders and the engine light comes on before it just cuts off. I have quite literally no idea what is causing the problem, does anyone have any idea?

Laguna won't start

First of all, if this exact problem has been dealt with elsewhere, apologies, and I'd be grateful if someone would direct me to the thread, as I can't find it.
When I pressed the starter on my 04 Laguna 2 1.6, the dashboard lights went on and it started clicking over and over again, even for half a minute or so after I pulled out the card. Thinking it was the battery, I tried a jump start. The engine did turn over - and over...and over... It has always started on the first try, so something is seriously wrong.

Renault Clio 4 media nav bluetooth connection problem
About 5 days ago I got the car up today everything worked fine. Morning there is a problem, the medianav connects to the mobile but there's no communication No Phone and not media. I tried a number of different instruments in all of them the same problem.
Grating Sound On Start Up
Can anyone help please, I have an 04 Megaune Saloon and intermittently on start up there is a grating sound. The car doesn't cut out and it lasts seconds, the cam belt and pulley were replaced in October last year. It all seems to happen when the car has been sitting in the sun?
Coil pack testing?
Looking for advice on the best way to test a coil pack.
Its for the mk2 1.2 so its the molded 4 pack one.
If I were to remove the leads one by one from the plugs themselves - can this be done with the engine running or am I likely to do some damage?

hi guys, just wondering if it would be ok to use Castrol Magnatec 10W40 in my car, iv been using 5w40 fully synth but its tapping slightly. iv had tappets checj=ked there are fine. would using 10w40 harm the car ?, thanks in advance
Radiator fan not working -Laguna II , 1,6 petrol

I checked the forum ,but did not find a troubleshooting idea for motor fan not working.
Fan not switching on,aircon also not working at the moment probably because the fan is not working.
I disconnected the temp. sensor at the bottom of the radiator -it should have made the fan switch on if it was the sensor.
Checked the fuse in the engine compartment.
The fan it self mechanically is turning easy.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

central locking problems.
Hi I'm new here. Hoping someone can help me please. I've just brought a Megan convertible 2 litre 2002 year. The central locking isn't working?? I have tried both keys and replaced the battery still nothing :-( the car opens fine when you put key in the door but not by pressing the button on the key. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.
Faulty door lock

I own a Renault megane MK2 55 plate. My rear passenger side door doesn't lock properly. It fails to lock when locking the car with the key card. I'm guessing the problem's electrical and something to do with the action of the door latch as at the moment I am having to lock the door manually and that's works fine but very inconvenient. Does anyone know of a solution?

Megane Coupe 1.6 2000 Central Locking

I've had a good search, but can't find a similar scenario to what I'm experiencing.
The central locking has recently gone ****, I'm unsure where to start. I'm certain it's not a signal problem from the keyfob, fob battery has been changed.
1) Can't lock the car with fob, and there is no loud clunk sound
2) Fob unlocks car ok but needs pressing twice.
3) Indicators flash once or twice when pressing keyfob as normal.
4) Dash button won't lock car, but does the unlock click sound.
5) Lock symbol (near cabin lights) lights/unlights when pressing keyfob or dash button as normal.
Each door has to be locked with the key inserted in the door lock, this does not enable me to lock the boot & fuel cap.
So possible culprits I've read about:
a) Relays - Where are they and which ones do I replace?
b) Lock mechanism - Is there a main lock actutaor that could be broken or does each lock have one? Surely they can't all break at once (there is no longer the loud locking clunk sound)
c) Expensive box of tricks under the steering wheel - could it be an expensive fix??
d) Fuse - Swapped the 10A fuse but no joy
e) Faulty electronics - I don't understand how the indicators flash/lock symbol lights up for it to be an electrical problem
To me it seems like that whatever mechanically locks the doors is getting the signal, but it's not able to mechanically do it?

Rear electric window faulty

I own a Renault megane MK2 55 plate, I know that faulty electric windows are a very common problem with renaults.
The rear drivers side window has never worked since owning the car. When I press the window switch, I can hear what sounds like the window motor trying to work, but there is no movement of the window!
I'm thinking it's either the regulator or the motor itself. Does anyone have any ideas? If it's an easy fix, I'll attempt to fix it myself.

Renault Kangoo 2004 fault
I have a 2004 Kangoo van, Sometimes when sitting at traffic lights as I went to pull away all lights would come up as if the engine was going to cut out and then correct itself, I took it to a garage and it had a plug in done and a new egr valve fitted this problem still occurs but no where near as much, Also if i turn sharp left like coming off a motorway the stop light and handbrake light come on does not do this going into a right bend and then corrects itself I thought this may be a fuel problem but does it with a full tank of diesel. Any ideas?
