Laguna 3, 2.0 diesel.
I inquired at a local gearbox specialist about a service on my auto gearbox. I was told that the only thing that can be done is an oil change as the filter is internal and can only be changed by stripping the gearbox. This doesn't seem right, does it?
I know that Renault say the gearbox is sealed for life and no maintenance is needed. I don't think this is wise though. The odometer reads 195,000 kms (121,000 mls). I just feel that this is more than enough for the transmission fluid.
