Check Auto Lighting, interior lights don't automatically come on?

I tried replacing my interior lights with some new LEDs, probably a rookie error, now the lights work individually, only when my engine is on and they do not come on when doors open, only a notice on the dash saying "Check Auto Lighting".

Megane MK3, 1.6 Hatch



Any help would be much appreciated I can never find time to ring Renault although they said they could assist me over the phone.
