Hi there,
2017 was OneSignal's breakout year -- in addition to raising our Series A, we grew from 110,000 to over 300,000 registered developers on the platform, and from delivering 2 Billion messages a week to over 10 Billion. We have big plans for OneSignal in 2018, and in the last month we've refreshed the OneSignal dashboard UI in preparation for the new features and capabilities we plan on launching. Read below, or get the full scoop on our blog post. Improved Navigation - we've moved navigation from a sidebar to the top, and organized features logically into four distinct locations: Settings, Messages, Users, and Delivery. SETTINGS - global settings for your app / website MESSAGES - where you send and style messages USERS - your userbase, including segments DELIVERY - your message delivery history and results Each of major section contains several sub-pages, which can be navigated to from the right hand tabbed list: You can also access other sections directly from the top navigation: Contextual Knowledge - ease of use was a big goal in the redesign. As a result, we created a system called Tips that embeds contextual knowledge and links to relevant documentation on every page in the dashboard, so you'll never have to wonder what a page or a form does. We think Tips are a huge usability improvement: Better Forms and Previews - we've put a lot of effort into improving the functionality and feedback given when customers fill out forms like in our New Message flow. In addition, we've redesigned our notification previews, so what you see looks almost exactly like what you get on both mobile devices and web browsers. With these changes we think we've got the best notification previews in the business. Web Push Setup - we've also redesigned the setup process for web push, radically simplifying setup and no longer requiring code. You can read more about it in our blog post. New Message flow - we received a lot of feedback from customers that wanted the New Message flow to be simpler, so we've condensed it down to a single page and embedded tips throughout. Documentation - our documentation has also undergone a big update, making it easier to find relevant information, examples, and best-practices. This redesign gives us a solid foundation for the features we're planning in 2018 - some of which are coming very soon. Log into OneSignal now to check it out, and feel free to reach out by replying to this message to let us know what you think! |
