Trying to fit new timing belt on Clio 3 2007 1.4 16v,
checked with Contitech site and its the correct belt= CT1126. 132 teeth..
i have put it around all the pulleys correctly but cant seem to get around the tensioner. i have pulled it as hard as possible but it wont go round.
i have also put it around and leaving the crankshaft gear to last but it wont go round.
is there a technique for doing this.
any help appreciated,,
