Howdo,
After recently taking a 2003 1.9DCi Megane Estate of a mate I noticed it doesn't have a spare wheel.
After much cocking about on tinternet and getting nowhere I am still searching for a spare with no luck it seems.
It's a 4 stud 17" wheel I need as that's what's on the car yet I can't seem to find one for under the price of a new car!
I've been fobbed off and am fed up now. One bloke says I can put a 16" spare on it but in my head that would make the car unstable and invalidate my insurance should it be in an accident whilst on yet I have read somewhere that a space saver can be and inch or two under in size yet legal...is this true?
I also wondered if anyone knew if the wheels off another car would do as a spare, another Frog mobile?
Any ideas will be gratefully accepted..
