Megane Dynamique Dci CHECK INJECTION and spanner light

Evening All..



Hope you're all ok and have all remembered (uk) that the clocks go back an hour tonight!!

Anyway . . . I have a Renault Megane II Dynamique 1.9 dci and I have a light on which says check injection. Its not on all the time but when it is, I experience loss of power. When it isn't on the car flies!! Always starts first time. Never has cut out ever. ... Um... Any thoughts please?!?!

I'm after some advice about my window. The other week it dropped down hard and now doesn't work!! It's the passenger front window. It's currently held up with a doorstop wedge so wondering if it's something i can fix myself and if anyone can help??

Trafic Best Engine

As the title suggests. I am looking to get a 3 year old lwb Trafic and was wondering which engine to go for.

Is one more reliable than the other? any advice really appreciated.

RX4 2.0 not overheating but..

..in heavy traffic the temp gauge has started to rise to 3/4 before the fan cuts in reducing it to just over midway. We've owned the car from new and the gauge has rarely moved above midway even in the heaviest traffic. The fan would appear to be cutting in at a higher temp than before. With the a/c on the gauge remains at the midway. I recently changed the coolant sensor when the temp gauge started behaving erratically after which it behaved normally until last week. The local garage checked it over and said everything's working OK. Is there any component that would make the fan cut in at a higher temp, e.g. radiator fan switch/faulty new coolant sensor/relay? It's disconcerting that after 14 years the temperature behaviour should suddenly change like it has.

Turbo

Megane dci 1.9 2003 I Rev it from idle just over 1k revs and I get a whine and whistle until the noise of turbo drowns it ,turbo boosts as normal and sounds as it did when I got it I get a little smoke when accelerating I can only see it in the dark in car lights any help would be great

radio problem

Hello really need help theradio on my 08 laguna has stopped working I can still put in cds and eject them but no sound and nothing on the dashboard display anyone had the same problem

alloys for Renault trafic?

Hi, New to this forum, and new to owning a Renault....and new to owning a van! I'd like to put alloy wheels on my 2003 trafic.
