Bought my Clio 2 years ago and the cars been perfect until about this time last year. After a long road trip my gear shifting was not as smooth as it was. Mostly 3rd gear is stiff to get into and sometimes goes half way in and pops out as I lift the clutch up. Sometimes it's as smooth as a new car. After an hour or 2 on the motorway of 5th gear when I go to change down it wont go into any other gear. The great stick will move but only side to side. A few times of pushing the clutch and revving the engine it will go back in again. This is mostly with 1st gear. Also with town drivinf occasionally it will just grind into 2nd gear every time.
Put up with these problems for almost a year and about 10000 miles. Told it could be the clutch, gearbox, great linkage, gear box mount and all sorts.
Any help is much appreciated
