I have seen questions for this but no real answers as yet, the car in question is a 1.5dci Initiale with HID's, cornering and self leveling headlights.
The lights are dim, so dim in fact that you have to have the fog lights on to drive at night.
Both lights seem to have gone down together, i purchased a generic ballast resistor (renault quoted £220 ea) the car has been in auto electricians all day, they tried the new br in a bench testing hid unit and the new br worked ok with the old bulb but when connected to the old bulb in the cars headlight it was dim, the cars bulb and old br was put in the bench test unit and worked fine but back in the cars headlight was again dim,
any ideas as now pulling hair out as are the electrician.
