Throtle/Electrical Issues - Renault Scenic II

Hi,

Please excuse my terminology, I am a total novice but really need advice about this issue as I have been told by two garages that there's noting they can do.

Since I bought my car a year ago I've had this problem.

When driving, even at a steady speed on the motorway etc my throttle/accelerator will just "lift off"...

I have to lift my foot off the pedal and re apply.

I've had the odd occasion where I will stall the car because I've lifted the clutch but the throttle hasn't gone on/taken (?)

It's getting to a point now that sometimes the car jolts and actually throws you forward a bit when the throttle lets off, so i'm getting a bit concerned.

Both garages I went to said they couldn't find a fault on the CPU and because there are no lights on the dash, they have nothing to go on. They also both tried to convince me that its just a loss of power due to the car engine being a 1.4, but even I can tell that this is not the case, it is physcially the throttle lifting off.

The car is a Renault Scenic 58 plate 1.4L 16v.

Any replies would be appreciated, thank you so much!!
