Not sure where to post this but I assume it's electronics related.
I've got a 2013 model Megane which I purchased when it was new and never had any issues with it but today something strange happened.
I parked up at the railway station car park as I do every morning and walked away. The car locked as normal.
After work I came back to my car and as I was about 1 meter behind the boot all four indicators started flashing orange. I did NOT touch the key nor the car.

I walked up to the passenger side door, grabbed the handle as usual and the door unlocked.
When I sat down and looked at the dash I noticed the car doing some kind of configuration check. It said things like "ECM On" "Traction Control On" before displaying a large "OK". It took a long time to go through these steps.
Now, maybe an odd thing, but my car is configured to display everything in KMH as I'm not British and struggle with the imperial system. After the configuration check mentioned above, the car had automatically reset itself to MPH.:confused:
This normally ONLY happens when the car's battery has been disconnected (I have seen it before).
I could not spot any marks near the doors, door handles or bonnet
But it almost seems as if someone had tried to nick my car.
Or would there be another explanation for a sporadic reset/disconnect of the battery??
I'm confused!!
