Mk3 megane coupe lowering

Ok so i have a 2011 megane coupe, the wheel arch gaps are pritty big. i am toying with lowering, coilovers are just too expensive imo. Have any you guys lowered on springs and by how much? any pics would be a great help!



I am running 18" 225 40
