Renault Clio 1.5DCI Turbo Problems

Hi I wondered if I could ask some advice on Clio Turbo problem So? I have a 2005 clio Dco 100bhp model, with 140k miles on it. it's a good little runner and I mainly use it for work hence the high mileage. I recently noticed I had an oil leak and took the car to my local garage. Mechanic had a look at it and said I had a couple of leaks, one from crankshaft oil seal and one from the intercooler. I got him to change the crankshaft oil seal and have just been monitoring it to see how bad it is. I took it back to the garage a week later and he jacked it up and ran it for a while - no oil leak after ticking over for 30 mins, when he dropped it down the engine ran away as it looked like the turbo was full of oil. He stalled it to stop any damage. I am still using the car and just topping up the oil until I decide what to do next. I am assuming that the turbo oil seals are passing and the oil is leaking from the intercooler drain. I can get a replacement turbo for about £300 but I think they are Chinese replacements? I am not sure what these are like but I am a bit afraid of fitting one. So I was thinking of taking my old turbo out sending it away for overhaul and then refitting it! Before I do I want to be sure that it is the turbo, I dont seem to be burning the oil as exhaust is fine and it doesn't sound bad as if bearings are going? So is it the turbo seals? And if so can anyone recommend a replacement turbo or a company that will overhaul them at a reasonable cost?

For info I removed the EGR valve and it was very oily so I do think it is the turbo but what do you experts think?

Thanks in advance
