Hi I have a 2006 clio which is exhibiting a battery drain problem, battery was replaced last year so not expected to be the issue here ( got battery on external charge at the moment to validate this). Car can be jumped and runs OK, however issue seems to be drain on battery when not running. I have just noted that there is what I can only describe as a faint alarm ( beeping) noise coming from somewhere in the engine compartment when engine is off - I am sure this is the cause of the battery drain - -any clues as to what the issue could be?
