Kangoo - Can I add an additional earth cable?

Hi there,



I have had a few electrical gremlins with my T-reg Kangoo but I have had some success this weekend. I am going to replace the battery but I would also like to add an extra earthing cable.



I have intermittent starting issues (no spark), however I can bump start the car fine every time and it runs well. I have noticed I have had the occasional static shock whilst in the car - when touching the metal on the door for example.



I cannot get to even see the earthing cable supposedly around the passenger side front wheel arch, so my question is can I add an additional earth cable myself to do the same job as the passenger wheel arch one?



If so where should I run it from and to?
