Hi guys.
Can any body help me with this issue.
I have a gear box fault that is a strange one.
2 weeks ago i had the master slave cylinder changed due to it hissing like a snake under the passenger foot well. Since then i have collected another fault which is leaving the garage puzzled and confused.
When i select D, the car engages into drive and does what it is suppose to do. When i press the brake and stop....holding the brake for maybe 5 seconds i release the brake but the Gear box is not in drive, it sits there like it is in Park or Neutral. i then have to rev a little and then the gear kinda stutters back into drive and driving commences.
I have found though that when this is happening, if i select on the gear stick manual...it engages the gear as normal so there is no me revving slightly and getting the little shunt before moving off?
This has only been happening since the brake cylinder. change.
The gear box oil has just been changed also on the off chance it was that, and todays drive shows the same fault..
Has any body got any ideas?
Thanks in-advance.
