[Clio Authentique] New Radio fitting

Hey all.

I recently bought a new Renault Clio Authentique (2014 model) and I'm looking to put in a new sound system. A proper one. Yes, you might think "but it's a brand new car!" but I'm young, I need my loud music.

I had a look at some of the headunits in my local stereo shops and the question popped into my head, would it be able to slip into the slot of the standard radio?

I noticed the whole front bit is a bit curved and everything so I was wondering if I would run into any troubles. I will obviously get a professional to do it, as I don't want to wreck the wiring of my new car, but I don't want to go to them when I know it can't be done.

Might be a silly question, but it's the first time I'm getting a sound system. Also are there anything we should be looking out for? As I was looking through the forums I noticed some people mention troubles with their steering wires and things. Wouldn't want to mess that up.

IF I can't put in a whole new headunit in there, would I be able to use the existing radio to wire up better speakers/amp/subwoofer? I want sound in my car.

The part I'm talking about, the standard radio that came with the car:
