Only ambient heat coming from Air-Con

Hi all, seeking some help for my Megane, hoping you are all knowledgeable and willing to help in this department. :d:mad:



So the air-con in my Renault Megane only blows out ambient air temperature it seems, and being Summer here in Aus, it has been blowing out really warm air.



I happen to have the same issues as described in these threads below about a ticking sound from recirculation flap motor.

However it seems that in these examples a degree of functionality still exists. However the CC unit in my Megane will blow out the same temperature (ambient) regardless of what it has been set to, so nice and cool in the evenings, but very warm air in the heat of the day.



I'm wondering if anyone would know a sort of fix or any sort of indication of what needs to be done.I took it to a mechanic (not many specialise in Renaults here in Aus), and they couldn't really locate it, another had said it needs a new climate control unit, though I'm unsure if he knew what he was talking about.:confused::confused:
