grand scenic will not start by the key but will bump start

car will not start by the key card but will bump start, garaged did diagnostic and said motherboard needed replacement £345, drove home today fine tonight dash all light up but same problem will not start by the key card, A A said no feed to starting motor brfore i had motherboard changed anyone help please thanks
