Hi,
I have just bought a 2009 1.2 Clio TCE and am very pleased with it other than one niggly (but potentially expensive) problem that I have noticed.
When driving there is an arcing noise coming from the left of centre dash position.
It normally happens when I go over a bit of rough road, pointing towards a bad connector. I don't really want to wait until the connection fails before getting it fixed.
I can't see any other way to check without taking the dash out, for this reason it is going to be pricey.
I know there have been questions regarding the electrical reliability of Renaults and was wandering if there are any known, common issues that this may be?
Luckily the car has 3 months warranty, it would just be nice to take it back to the dealer with a more comprehensive idea of what the problem is.
Thanks in advance
Lee
