Tomtom Carminat screen scratched

Hi, my Clio have a integrated Tomtom Carminat GPS but the screen its scratched. I believe its just the anti-glare layer that its scratched. Can i polish the rest of the layer and left the screen without that layer but with a clean image? Welcome for any ideas.
