Toxic Fume Warning Light '02 Clio 1.4

I'm sure this topic may have been covered before but here goes.

Earlier on in the week the airbag and service lights lit up. I've had this fault previously and thanks to this forum was able to clear the warning lights by unplugging/plugging the connectors under both front seats. Again this time fault was cleared by this procedure.

However, the following day the toxic fume light illuminated and hasn't cleared but I don't think the 2 incidents are connected. Previously, when this light has come on there has been poor running and very slow idling with the gear lever jumping around. The cure has been replacement of a faulty coil pencil on top of a spark plug. This time, although the idle speed is just over 500 rpm, there doesn't seem to be any undue lumpiness in running, no shaking gear lever and acceleration is reasonable.

I've tried taking off each individual coil pack connector with the engine running to see if there was any effect but this didn't seem to show a definite fault. I also changed the coil packs around-again with no difference in running.

I was thinking about changing all 4 coil packs but also wonder whether its worth getting an OBD II reader to see if there's any fault codes 1st.

Any suggestions welcome.
