Hi all.....went out to car today and i couldnt unlock car using key card..so straight away i unplugged the key from the card to find its a blank key...so couldnt get into car at all...
so me thinking it needed soldering i took key card apart to look for bad/dry solder joint but they were ok...only to find all i needed was a battery(wasnt thinking logically at time with anger lol)...battery shop is 3 mile from me but luckily i had a spare 2040 3v lithium battery laying around of which i used to get into car then bought 2 2032 3v batteries which work a treat....but i only got 1 card key when bought car so im needing to get the right key cut from the blank..do i need a code or security number then take that to a key cutter or is it a renault dealer job? thanks
