Hi, I have a 1999 Megane 1.4 that is driving me crazy.
ABS and service light are on all of the time even before the car starts moving - brakes are working fine though - it failed the car test on one thing - the flipping abs light on the dash!
So far I've tried the following:
Checked and cleaned up all fuses under dash.
Removed, sanded, refitted big fuses beside battery.
Cleaned up white multi connector beside battery.
Cleaned up earth connection just above the abs unit.
Cleaned and inspected all abs sensors.
Checked sensors with ohm meter - all showing same values (1.07).
Cleaned up the connector under the front passenger seat floor.
Checked brake fluid level.
And to top it off, after doing all that, my speedo needle doesn't work any more.
Any ideas before I drive it over the nearest cliff?:crazy:
