Hi all,
We have recently bought a Mklll Grand Scenic, 1.6 dci Within a few miles of picking the car up, the Check Air Pollution message came up on the dash. Pulled over, checked the forums and read that it could just be the soot deposits so a good blast on the motorway could sort it out. Duly filled up, added redex and a 100 mile motorway cruise ensued.
You know what's coming....The fault is still there, despite taking all the advice and trying to force a regen.
So, I know it could be anything but with 80k on the clock and a motorway ex lease car, I wondered if anyone could give me any clues ? It's booked into Renault Garage on Thursday but I wondered if it might be something simple. I don't know if it's related but the stop start doesn't seem to work either, could it be a simple fuse somewhere ? ( Wishful thinking)
I'm a newbie here so any advice greatly received.
