central locking ( keycard ) help please

hi hope this is ok to post here its a problem with my wifes car 2003 megane 2, 1.5dci the keycard starts the engine but dosnt work the central locking changed the battery but still the same shes currently holding down the lock/unlock button on the dash to lock the car and having to open the passenger door with the key blade to get in to the car



is there anyone in the Nottingham area that can help either repair the card or buy another and get it programed theres a few on ebay that repair them for under £20 but she only has the one key card so cant use the car if she was to send it off etc



any help much appreciated
