Laguna 11 won't start unless I press the clutch!

Went to start my car this afternoon. Put the keycard in as normal, the dash lit up, then I went to press the start button..... Nothing!! tried a couple of things then pressed the clutch & it started!!

Any ideas what the reason for this could be & if so, what's the fix?
