Im wondering if someone can help or has had a similar problem. Ive read lot of posts and searches on the internet but with no success.
I have a Laguna 2006 2.0 petrol with a/c. Since 6 months ago I started experiencing problems with my heater working intermittently. It has now settled into a rythm, albeit a very strange one. After the engine is started the heater does not work, no fan, except a slight clicking noise for a few seconds when I try to increase the power on the digital readout. But if I let the engine run for 30 seconds or so then restart the engine again, the heater works fine. This happens everytime I start the car, even after I have driven for a while then restart the car after stopping for maybe a fuel refill, I have to restart twice to use the heating. The only time it differs is if the car has been idle at the weekends then the fan wont come on even if I restart the car 3 or 4 times !
I cleaned the pollen filter, even though I didnt feel this would have any effect and read some posts about the resistor pack being a common problem, but my symptoms differ somewhat to those talked about.
