My 2002 1.9dci Megan Scenic started making a noise yesterday, it's a squeaky metallicy rattling noise from the auxiliary belt side of the engine on tickover, once I raise the revs slightly it disappears ? I've read on here about the alternator pulley and aux belt tensioner making a noise but it sounds lower down the engine? It's done 100k and the cambelt was replaced at 75k. Any ideas? Could it be the cambelt tensioner ? I need the car for work but don't want to risk a snapped cambelt either.
