Megane MK3 GT220 Exhaust Upgrade
Hi Guys, I***8217;m pretty new to Renault Forums, in fact this is my first post. Anyway, I recently bought a Renault Megane GT220 and wanted to know if anyone had upgraded their exhaust, whether it be a full system or just a change to the backbox and and the £ for this. I***8217;ve attached a photo of the stock exhaust below.
The car itself is great but I think it lacks in the exhaust noise is produces. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Sam.

Alan Hellmeister suffered two broken legs
Mercedes GT Open racer Alan Hellmeister suffered two broken legs in a horrific crash after the chequered flag in race two at Monza on Sunday.
His Mercedes-AMG GT3 suddenly veered to the right after crossing the finish line, and crashed head-on into the Armco barriers just after the pit lane exit.
The impact was so violent that it tore away the front of the car, and the 32-year-old Brazilian sustained serious leg injuries.
Hellmeisters car was catapulted across the track, and came to a standstill on the opposite side from the impact. The field was very densely packed at the finish, because there had been a one-lap sprint to the chequered flag after a safety car phase, but fortunately nobody hit his wrecked car.

Clio Mk2 - speedometer and accelerator doesn't work
Sometimes when i turn on my 2001 MK2 Clio (1.9D), the speedometer doesn't work but after a while driving it starts working again. Whats worse is that as long as the speedometer doesn't work, my accelerator doesn't work correctly either (but not every time). When i push in the accelerator, it gives gas in short bursts, it starts and stops, idk how to explain it. If i do not press the accelerator and let the car drive on its own, then there are no gas problems.
But as soon as the speedometer starts working again, the accelerator starts working correctly again too.
There are no warning lights on the dashboard while this is happening.

Laguna MK3 Handbrake issue
Hi there,
I was trying to replace the rear rotors and braking pads and ended up removing the entire caliper (big mistake) and unwinded the parking brake cable. I didn't finish the work and put the key card into the car and started up the engine, when turned off the engine the EPB system pulled the cable and now it's too tight there is no way to pull it off a bit to fit it again in the caliper. Is there anyway I can force the EPB to fully release the cables, or is there an emergency parking brake releaser like in the Scenic?
Another quick question, does the system give an braking fault error if braking fluid is too low?
Thank you,

2010 Grand Scenic front passenger window regulator ...
£450 to supply and fit at B*****s in Ipswich! Absolutely crazy or what?!?!?!?!
£282 just for the regulator itself excluding fitting and the (in my mind pointless) Diag check.
Having 11 month old baby triplets and working all week, I do not have the time to investigate myself and as the window could not be secured fully, we were at the mercy of who could repair it in the short term whilst i am at work.
Sorry for the moan but £450 is simply ridiculous.
Rant over.

Faulty dash
Hiya, i have a 2005 renault trafic , only picked it up the weekend , now i have noticed when the headlights are switched on the dash stays u does not iluminate any ideas guys?
Is there a PCV valve on 2005 Espace 1.9 dci ??
I have looked at the entire breather system from the big breather box which is part of the dipstick tube right all the way to the big air inlet hose. No valve there. And the breather box looks like the same part as on previous espace, scenics, master, traffic etc.
Trying to eliminate if its PCV valve as I have a good amount of oil seeping from the turbo air inlet, enough to make a mess over back of engine. If there is no PCV valve its not that. There does appear to be some moderate blowby from the oil filler cap, but I dont know enough to tell. Its a new turbo so it cant have blown seals already I hope, but rather that is causing the blowby than piston rings. i hope its not piston rings, only got 75,000 miles on it, but it might explain the occasional black smoke, but maybe thats a fuel problem. Still drives fine mind you with full power.. but looks like a compression check is required..
I presume renault has removed the PCV valve due to the problems it caused and its just a straight through ventilation system now ?

Clio 1997 1.4 Auto Exhaust Rattle
Hi,
I have an annoying rattle, mostly at idle/low revs. I think I have identified the source as the front heatshield. Looking at it, there is a part at the back of the heatshield where it goes all the way round the pipe and there is a bit of play there (pic attached - part in question is to the left where there is a bolt pointing down). This seems odd to me, is there a bush missing or something? Does anyone have an EPC diagram they could share? Car is a C57J I think, 1.4 Auto, 1997 RT model. Thanks in advance
