Hi i am new to this.
I have a 2003 renault megane 1.6 dynamique. I had a new alternator fitted about 2/3 month ago and not had a problem since! That was untill today. When i got in my car this morning and started it up, it started then cut out stright away, so i tried again same thing happend, 3rd time it started so thought nothing of it! Then on my way ome from work sat at set of traffic lights and my car just cut out, tried to start but no power atall, it was trying to start but wud just not fire. Managed to get it started by jump leads, took it to a friends ouse who a mechanic and when i pulled up same happend again but this time wouldn't start again even with a jump. He checked that the alternator was charging, which it was. Then tried a new battery and still nothing.
Hope someone can help, this is the worst car i have ever had nothing but problems!!!!
