I recently had to remove my battery to gain access to my brake servo and when i re-fitted the battery all four of my windows kept moving a bit then stopping until you press the button again and it would move a bit more.
After doing a bit of research on the forum I found the same symptoms and a fix on a Megane, so I thought I would try it on my Espace.
Step 1 - Keep pressing the down button until the window goes right down then hold the button for 20 seconds.
Step 2 - Repeat the process until the window is all the way up and hold the button for 20 seconds.
Step 3 - Repeat steps 1 and 2 on all the other windows all from the drivers side controls and that's it all the windows should have reset.
This method worked first time on my car and didn't cost me a thing.
