Hi, bare with me first post and a women so might not get the names of things right.
Brought a Renault megane 1.6 16v 04, a week ago drove fine all the way home around 40miles and the next day, but then suddenly lost power, my foot was to the floor and stalled. happened again but then recovered its self. This led me to check the spark plugs they 2 of them were covered in oil so brought new ones clean it all up and car drove fine for 3 days then same problem.
AFter checking the car over again became aware that the oil level is too high and also the oil cap not on quite right, can oil come out and spill into coil chambers? There is oil pooling at the top of the coil chambers/top of engine.
Just wondering if anyone had any idea whether oil can spill out or the seals are broken and will need a new rocker gasket? can too much oil cause this? Thanks, any help greatly appreciated
