I am a little stuck with my beloved money pit, after only owning the car for just over a month. i find that all of the alloys are buckled.
the car has lazuli 16" alloys fitted, the 2 front are so bad they couldnt get them ballanced.
i have a few options and a small budget.
1) buy some more lazuli's off the bay and hope they havnt suffered the same fate as mine, i have my doubt.
2) put steel wheels on the car, new ive fount them with tyres for about £350. thats asuming i can put steels on the car. i do mostly use the car for towing, so the steel wheels would probably add stability.
3) buy a new set of after market alloys about £400, hopefully not making the car look too chavvy. worried a little that id be in the same boat in about 3 months or so.
4) source an alternative set of renault allloys, ive heard that the silverstone one should be avoided, comments like there made of silly putty fill me with no faith. is there an alloy that could be reccomended. i must admit the alloys on my scenic seemed crater proof.
