sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but i am a noob here and don't really know much about cars.
anyway here it goes,
i have a clio mk3 55 plate, which i've had for 3 yrs, 100,000k on the clock. the problem is that since the late summer i have noticed a loud ticking sound coming from the engine when it starts up and gets faster when the revs increase. it normally goes away after about 10mins of drivetime gradually getting quieter until you can't hear it. however now it takes long for the sound to go away if at all but it does still get quieter the longer i drive, also only in the last few weeks i've noticed the engine seems to be struggling to start, it does start up but seems to have to turn over so to speak a few times more and seems slower than normal. the last full service was in november and i usually have it serviced twice a year as i do a lot of miles.
anyone know what this might be? i've searched the internets and can't find anyone with the same problem
