Hi Guys, this is my first post, so hello everyone.
I took the car, 2005 plate Espace 2.2 dci, to the local garage for a service as the check injector light kept coming on with a loss of power combined with a noise like a tractor. So he looked at it and said the seal on the 1st injector was gone so he replaced the seal and done the service, the noise is reduced greatly but when im accelerating i can still hear it, not when idling or cruising.
I said i would buy a new injector on ebay or something like that and replace it but he told me not to as i would have to get it coded to the engine.
My questions are, is the noise normal and do the injectors need coded to the ecu or can i install a new one myself.
