Laguna II V6 audio

I wonder if anyone can help? I've recently bought a 52 plate V6 Laguna and the radio doesn't work, I spoke to the previous owner who said that when he got the car it was sent back to the Renault dealer and they couldn't fix the problem BUT he found that by pressing a combination of buttons on the remote audio controls he could turn it on!!!! well it then went to a dealer (he traded it) and it looks like the dealer has tried to fix it, but now it doesn't work at all (and the climate temp doesn't illuminate & the clock resets to zero every time you start the car up) I thought the easiest way would be to replace the audio with one I have, but I cant see how to remove it, the satnav has the usual audio 'holes' for removing but nothing on the radio.

Any help anywhere chaps?
