Hello all,
This is my first post here so I do apologise if this is an already open thread. I have been reading through for a few days and haven't come across a solution to my problem so thought id give this a try.
One morning my car (MK2 Clio 1.2) would not start, this had happened once or twice before and been okay after a jump start. unfortunately this time, no luck.
After returning from work that day i found that the central locking did not work, nor the electric windows and the engine did not turn over at all.
After days of reading, replacing the battery, and somebody starting the engine buy connecting the battery to the starter motor i have found that the car will sometimes start instantly, sometimes nothing.
The central locking, windscreen wipers, windows and indicators will not work. if i put the indicator on and start the car it will come on for a few seconds then go off. I am literally tearing my hair out trying to figure out what it could be. I know very little about cars and don't really have the cash to take it to Renault.
Any help or suggestions would be amazing.
Thanks in advance.
Dan
