Hello - (I am new here). We've always had Lagunas, but this time we went for an Espace. Not really doing much research we picked up a 2.2dci and at 80k we've had nothing but issues.
Currently we have an issue and we are all stumped, so I decided to come here for some advice, please.
We have a light that comes up - rectangle shape with a heartbeat and the car goes into limp mode. Had a diagnostic check and changed the Air Pressure Sensor. Car worked fine then the light came back - this time it was the MAP sensor and EGR valve, both of which we changed but the light didn't come off.
It began when the light would randomly come on, so we would turn off the ignition and then back on and it had gone off. Then after a few days the light would come on every time the car got to running temperature but stay on if we switched it off and back on. And now it's on constantly and the car is stuck in limp.
Next idea is to send the ECU off for testing - does this sound like the next reasonable thing to do as I am at the end of my tether with the poxy thing??!!
Has anyone else had this fault and fixed it?!
