Replacing heater matrix

Good afternoon, I need to replace the heater matrix on my 2002 megane scenic 1.6 petrol. Is therer a way of replacing it without having to strip the whole dash out? My car has air conditioning if that makes any difference to replacing the matrix.



Any advice would be very helpful as I cannot afford the £200 bill it is going to cost if I put it into the garage.
