We have 2001 1.6 petrol scenic, we went on a trip 60ish miles stopped at tesco and couldn't start the engine again. The RAC came out and said the battery had died. He jumped us and we got home. The next day we replaced the battery. I've just gone out to start it and it sound very rough, a knocking noise and even though it started it sounded very low on power and was struggling. I reved the engine and it sound ok after a couple of revs, anyone have any idea what it could be? The cambelt was replaced in March and it had a full service then too. Any thoughts welcome.
