i have a 2004 kangoo automatic , the gearbox warning light kept coming on indicating low oil level , got off autodata , what to do , run till TEMP AT 60 , put in park , remove drain plug , if less 0.1 litre of oil comes out , top up with 0.5 lt etc etc..
did this ... the top fill plug has a long nosed shaft on it which locates into a ring? / which i can see inside top of the box , which moves with the gearlever.
the gearlever was moved by mistake when doing oil change!!!! so this appears to be mis aligned ?
now with the correct amount of oil in box 3.5lts the gearlever is very stiff to move and i now have no drive , forward or reverse
any suggestions or advice as the car is dead
