Hi everyone and sorry admins if i placed this in the wrong forum,i have a megane 3 1.5 DCI that was bought slightly used in 2013 it runs well in the first year then last year,the error CHECK INJECTION SYSTEM suddenly appears on my dash while driving in a highway,it was a pain since then,brought the car to the nearest renault garage but they seems clueless on the problem,they already replaced 2 parts and i think one of them is the sensor,it did'nt fixed the problem,all in all,this car visited that useless garage 5x without any solution..
Then recently,i decided to bring the car to another garage,after 2 hrs of diagnostic,the mechanic told me that it was the PARTICULE FILTER that is causing the problem,i don't wanna get rip off by the garage (he told me by the way that it was not covered by the warranty) so i came to this forum hoping someone could enlighten me....
Before i plunge on this,i just want to know coz i am not a tech guy and i have no idea how the particule filter works,is it a possibility that a particule filter failure would result to this check injection/anti pollution error?have anyone experienced this on their car?your help would be greatly appreciated....thanks in advance
