Hoping some of you may have some experience with the Ka that may be able to offer some insight.
So my gearbox is leaking oil, its the plate right on the end. Ive got a new gasket and looking at it seems simple to replace. However i forgot about the power-steering pipes which go round the side of the gearbox blocking removal on the plate.
Now the pipes are steel allong this section and are rusted quite badly. I do intend to replace them but they are expensive and i don't have the finances at the moment.
So my question, has anyone any experience removing these? My fear is as they are so rusted i wont be able to remove them or worse, not able to refit. Is it possible to unbolt the mounting points and lever them out of the way? There are rubber sections in the system but i don't want to try man handling things without knowing if they have enough movement unbolted first.
