Hi. I had problems with my central locking on Renault Master. Fob stopped working but button inside the car still worked. So I decided to fit aftermarket control unit. Hope someone might find it useful.
1) Bought it on ebay for £10
2) Opened up and removed light unit from ceiling
3) Control box has got loads of wires. 1st 6 are controlling opening and closing. Others are for indicator blink, boot release, LED etc. I didnt bother with any of them as all I wanted was to close and open doors on the button.
Top 3 wires control opening other 3 closing. Box needs constant 12V feed.
There is constant 12V going into interior lights feed which I used to power up the box. No soldering. Just stripped the central locking box power wires, made a blob of bare wire and wedged it into the connector Red to Red Black to Black ad taped them together so they dont pop out.
I did the same "No soldering / Wedging them directly into connector" thing to connect other wires and connected them in the following way:
Wires 2 (BROWN) and 3 (BLUE) into the relevant slots to control openng.
Wires 5 (Yellow) and 6(Yellow+Black) to control closing. Notoce that 2(Brown) and 5(Yellow) go together.
4) Pushed the box into the roof void.
5) Put the light unit back.
Done.
