Our Kangoo 2 doesn't get a lot of use and is low mileage....its the petrol version so no DPF nonsense to worry about and it has always run well and still does.....but a spanner light has lit up permanently on the right side dial on the dash. No warning messages and car is performing perfectly, just this light goes on instantly and stays lit.
The owners manual says to go to the dealer instantly which I am not about to do as I really don't have the deep pockets most main dealers love! I have ordered the carsoft i907 reader (£90 including free delivery) which would be the price a dealer would charge just to "take a look" anyway, and I thought it would be a good buy given I intend to keep the Kangoo for a few years yet.
Are there any gurus out there who could give me any idea of what the problem might be? I don't want to drive it if I will cause further damage although it is performing perfectly at present!
