2009 Modus 1.5 dCi quickshift. 27,000 miles but mostly town driving with lots of stops and farts. Transmission judders on starting-off briskly and into second gear. Judder can be reduced or eliminated by easing back on the throttle -- but still hard to drive completely smoothly. Also it judders in reverse if going up an incline.
The usual suspects are the clutch plate, the dual-mass flywheel and the hydraulic clutch slave cyclinder. The slave cylinder is obviously the the easiest to replace but how can I test and isolate it as the culprit? Thanks.

Modus Clutch Judder: Plate, DMF or Slave Cylinder?
