1.5 DCI Kangoo, Fuel Pump Removal - Help Needed

Hi all,

Ive just picked up a little kangoo 1.5 dci, bargain i thought, ran a little rough with suspected fueling issue, I braved it and drop it home, big mistake broke down on the side of the M42 3 hour wait to be recovered, ive now discovered it to be the dreaded fuel pump swarf issue (wish i knew that before ruining 2 injectors driving it)

My question is does anyone have any info on removing the fuel pump, im quite handy with the spanners, i took the top of the engine mount off but there appears to be another part of the mount i need to remove to acess the timing belt properly, but i cant figure it out, its going dark and ive ran out strongbow!

Any help would be very much appreciated

I will try to take as many pics along the way and upload them to help others, ive searched alot but cant seem to find much info

Cheers Guys

  1. these cars are renound for it you will have to remove aux belt and tensoner then you will have to remove covers from the timing belt also you will need to take the engine mount off the drivers side then you need to lock top dead center and also lock the crank shaft off undo the tensoner remove timing belt then unblot it from the top you will need to replace timing belt and tensoner then do everything in revers order
