Spent a couple hours dusting 6 years of grime off the engine bay today. Never been done by the previous owner so I couldn't resist!
Didn't use any water, as it scares me, even though many people say its safe if done correctly. (I'm disaster prone) lol.
To clean it I used 5 microfibers which I disposed of afterwards, Megs waterless shampoo & wax spray on solution, Megs interior detailer, and Autoglyms Interior Shampoo.
To shine I used Autoglyms Vinyl & Rubber Protector, just sprayed the entire bay heavily, wiped off overspray and let it dry, then buffed some areas off.
Quite happy with how it came out. Looks a lot better than how it did before, although up close you will see dirty crevices and places I couldn't reach with a microfiber.
