megane mk3 heater not working

Hi guys, your help on this subject would be much appreciated.

A while ago I had a blockage in my scuttle drains and after a heavy rainfall my heater would completely cut out.

After it had chance to drain a little, the fan would always come back on. I obviously let it get too bad as by the time I got round to unblocking it, it had completely given up the ghost, rain or no rain!

Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong with it?
